1. Acceptance of the Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CodePad – Code Editor & IDE (the "App"), provided by Touch LLC ("Company," "we," "our," "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

Touch LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal or professional software development purposes on your own devices.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App itself, redistribute the App, or use it for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

3. Your Code and Content

CodePad is a tool for writing and running your own code. You retain full ownership of any code, projects, files, or text you create, import, or write using the App. We do not claim any rights to your code and do not access it except as described in our Privacy Policy (for example, text you voluntarily submit through the "Suggest an Improvement" feature).

You are solely responsible for the code you write or run, and for making sure it doesn't infringe on anyone else's rights or violate any applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Write, run, or distribute malicious code intended to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any device, network, or service
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the App or your device
• Violate any applicable law or the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to overwhelm, abuse, or automate excessive load against the App's infrastructure

5. Intellectual Property

Aside from your own code and content, all other content within the App – including its design, interface, icons, and branding – is the exclusive property of Touch LLC and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not modify, copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App itself without our explicit written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App, or the code you run through it, will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. You are responsible for backing up any code or files that matter to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Touch LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages – including loss of data or code – arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
